The SHPE National Convention is the country's largest gathering of Hispanic students and professionals in STEM. Experience 100+ tiered skill-building workshops along with inspiring keynote speeches devoted to career development, life skills and knowledge training. Specialty tracks for Community College, Graduate School, SHPEtinas, Professionals and SHPEtech and more will be tailored to each audience and include STAR awards and competitions.
Over 250 sponsors and exhibitors will be looking to hire Hispanics in STEM to build diverse, representative and equitable teams. Make connections with many of the most influential organizations and leaders in STEM via in-person networking events. Increase your chances of gaining an interview or receiving an offer by connecting with recruiters at the Career Fair & Graduate School Expo. This year SHPE is proudly celebrating its 50th anniversary.

You’re invited to our hospitality suite! You will have the chance to meet operations team members, recruiters, and leaders from Mortenson. It’s a great opportunity to get to know Mortenson in a more informal setting, with the ability to ask questions of and hear stories from our team and learn about the diverse range of employment opportunities available.

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) is the largest association in the nation for Hispanics in STEM — serving more than 13,000 members and running over 270 chapters, with 245 dedicated college and university chapters. SHPE’s vision is a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influential as the leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.
