College of DuPage McAninch Arts Center / Glen Ellyn, IL
What is the best way to address infrastructure in a college renovation?
The 170,000 square foot McAninch Arts Center at College of DuPage was renovated to update the major performance spaces, address significant infrastructure needs, and improve several academic program areas. The 25-year-old center houses three performance areas, a gallery, and classrooms for academic programs such as Theater, Music, Art, Photography, Motion Picture/Television, and Graphic Design. The front entrance includes a new canopy and replacement of the existing tinted glass panels with clear and fritted panels that result in a visual consistency with the other buildings on campus.
