Cornell College West Science Hall Renovation
What should you build to accommodate student growth in STEM on campus?
West Science Hall previously contained classrooms, laboratories, offices, and research spaces for the biology and chemistry departments. After relocating these departments into the Russell Science Center, the building underwent a major renovation to update mechanical, electrical, and interior finishes throughout the building. Programmatic changes provided classrooms and offices for Cornell College’s math and statistics, physics, computer science, and engineering departments.
The renovated facility allows for student growth by doubling the footprint for the non-lab STEM curriculum provided by the Department of Physics and Engineering.
