Can a dining facility be built to seat over 2500 people?
The Fort Eustis AIT Complex Dining Facility project involved the construction of a two-story dining facility (DFAC) providing four spacious dining rooms, with seating for a total of 2,600 persons. The two dining rooms on each floor have dedicated serving areas and share common salad bar areas and dishwashing facilities, supported by a full-service kitchen on the first floor. Storage areas, recycling stations, administrative offices, and staff areas are adjacent to the kitchen. The project scope included site utilities and improvements as well as the demolition of eight existing buildings.
