As a Subcontractor to Mortensen from their arrival in the Washington, DC Area, Marco Enterprises, Inc. (MARCO) has found them to be one of the best; if not the best General Contractor that we have had the privilege to work within the Washington-Metro area. Marco has worked on multiple projects with Mortenson and on each project- it is was well-managed; they pay extreme attention to quality control, safety, and the construction schedule - for timely completion. Monthly payments are received timely, as agreed under the subcontract agreement. Their philosophy is clearly providing quality work to their clients; their success is our success.

A/E Partners

Over 65% of our Federal work is delivered via the design-build process. We understand the importance of true collaboration between the design and building team members during all stages of a project. An equal partnership is critical to a successful project, where all parties are engaged in creating solutions and overcoming challenges. At Mortenson, we strive to form long-term relationships with our design partners and together, leverage our design-build experience to improve our processes and deliver exceptional outcomes for the federal government.

When working with Mortenson it’s apparent from the beginning that a quality project is expected. They are thorough from the go/no go decision point of a pursuit through project closeout. Their staff obviously value and understand the importance of teamwork during design-build projects and Coffman appreciates being one of Mortenson’s trusted partners. We have enjoyed working with Mortenson and are thankful for our ongoing relationship.

Trade Partner Note:

At Mortenson, we are continually looking to expand our database of qualified trade partners and suppliers. Our policy is to afford every practicable opportunity for participation of Small Business Concerns, including veteran-owned small business concerns, service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns, HUBZone small business concerns, small disadvantaged business concerns, and women-owned small business concerns, in contracts awarded by the Federal Government to Mortenson Construction and to diligently pursue the achievement of our subcontracting goals under this contract.

Registration and inclusion in our database does not guarantee a bid opportunity or promise any work with Mortenson. This is an important piece of information needed to reach out to you on future opportunities in your area of interest. M. A. Mortenson Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages participation from all qualified trade partners and suppliers.
