Mortenson’s Erin Saewert Named One of BizTimes 2020 Notable Women in Construction + Design
Erin Saewert, Senior Project Manager, has been named one of BizTimes 2020 Notable Women in Construction and Design (page 51). This honor is awarded to those who have worked to advance women in construction and design and have used their skills to advance their organization or professional field of expertise.
Erin is a construction industry veteran who has been building facilities throughout the Midwest for nearly two decades. As one of the industry’s and Mortenson’s most notable women, she has successfully led several of the company’s cultural and corporate projects while also spearheading many initiatives including LEED accreditation trainings, foreman trainings, and our Women Advancing Mortenson affinity group.
Erin’s leadership on high-profile projects totaling nearly $500 million in construction has resulted in the successful delivery of facilities that have transformed communities. Currently, she is leading one of the largest projects underway in Wisconsin, the 296,000-square-foot Aurora Medical Center in Mount Pleasant.
She is a proven leader in managing a collaborative team that is focused on the project’s overall success and exceeding customer expectations. Erin earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and is a LEED accredited professional and a Design Build Institute of America Associate. Erin is involved with a number of local organizations including TEMPO Milwaukee, UW-Madison Civil & Environmental Engineering Visiting Committee, and Girls on the Run.
