Minneapolis, MN – (April 19, 2023) – Governor Tim Walz has proclaimed April 17-21, 2023, "American Clean Power Week" in Minnesota. In recognition of American Clean Power Week, Mortenson, an industry leader in renewable energy construction, requested that Governor Walz recognize the importance of clean energy in Minnesota and the role it plays in generating secure, sustainable, and reliable energy and jobs for our communities.

Clean energy provides approximately 8,000 jobs for Minnesotans and has provided $12 billion in total capital investment to date, $36.3 million in annual state and local tax payments and $39.5 million in lease payments to Minnesota landowners.
