Habitat for Humanity Deconstruction at St. Camillus Project
Mortenson recently broke ground at the St. Camillus CBRF & Jesuit Residence Facility. To prepare the site, our project team partnered with Habitat for Humanity ReStore to deconstruct five houses. The deconstruction crew spent two days salvaging materials that included 69 windows, 26 doors, 67 light fixtures, two garage doors, and much more. The items salvaged will be sold at the two Milwaukee ReStores and the funds raised will benefit Milwaukee Habitat's mission to build simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with families in need.
Mortenson previously partnered with Habitat for Humanity on the demotion of five buildings on Marquette University’s campus. You can watch the team in action here.
