Mortenson Celebrates Apprentices During Appreciation Lunch
The Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center is more than halfway finished with nearly 800 craftworkers onsite. Of these, 260 are apprentices. While onsite, apprentices work closely with journeymen for mentorship, on-the-job training, and classroom instruction.
To celebrate the apprentices on the project and highlight National Apprenticeship Week, Mortenson and the Milwaukee Bucks recognized the apprentices at a jobsite lunch. More than 800 attendees enjoyed a buffet lunch and an opportunity to win a number of raffle prizes. The Bucks donated two tickets to each apprentice working on the job and a few lucky apprentices were honored at center court during halftime of Wednesday night’s game.
