SunTrust Park has received a 2017 Best Project Award in the Sports + Entertainment category from ENR Southeast. The project was selected based on its achievements in safety, innovation, teamwork, quality and functionality. ENR Southeast will honor the SunTrust Park project team at an awards ceremony on Nov. 17 at the Omni Orlando Resort.

Designed to create the ultimate fan experience, SunTrust Park is the new home of the Atlanta Braves and features 41,500 seats with the best sightlines in Major League Baseball. The $672 million landmark project also includes a large canopy for optimal weather protection; a three-level, 6,000-square-foot Chop House; an Xfinity rooftop lounge; a variety of food and beverage options, including an on-site brew pub; and a large shaded plaza with water fountains and an amphitheater.

Mortenson Construction and the American Builders 2017 team delivered SunTrust Park on-time and on-budget in advance of the 2017 season opener.
