The Aurora Medical Center in Summit, Wisconsin, is an 802,000 SF project which includes the 225,000 SF Aurora Wilkinson Medical Clinic (medical office building) and 69,000 SF Cancer Center. The Hospital consists of 117 (110 beds and 7 bassinettes) inpatient beds, Emergency/Urgent Care department, Hyperbaric wound care chambers, surgery with operating rooms, Cysto procedure room, C-Section rooms, Endoscopy procedure rooms, and diagnostic imaging and testing. The facility includes areas dedicated to cardiology care, consisting of operating rooms, cardiac catheterization labs, cardiac rehab, pre-op, recovery, nuclear medicine rooms, hot lab, stress rooms, echo room, EEG room, pulmonary room, vascular room and family waiting areas on each floor. The Women’s Imaging area includes rooms for stereotactic, mammography, ultrasound, and bone densitometer procedures. Other areas featured are sleep studies, an Intensive Care Unit, pediatrics, pain management, laboratory, food service/dining, administrative space, a healing garden, radiation, and medical oncology.
