The University of Iowa Voxman School of Music is among several facilities lost to the Iowa flood of 2008. The new 184,000 square foot facility serves as a recruiting tool and a much needed “home base” for the school. The highlight of this project is the 700-seat concert hall that includes LMN Architect's award-winning thermoacoustic sound and light system. The glass-lined, six-level facility also includes a 200-seat recital hall, organ performance hall, and 150 acoustically treated practice rooms. (Photography by Tim Griffith)
