The Schindler Education Center houses the College of Education, a premier program that prepares educators for service in the state and nation’s schools. Programmatic enhancements were to meet the college’s goals, such as reconfiguring classroom space, to increase collaboration and engagement of building users. This project features a LEED Gold certification, and high emphasis was placed on energy and water conservation strategies that have a high return on investment. The $27 million project was completed early in November of 2016.
