How do you relocate marine engines?
The project scope included the design and construction of a 27,700 square foot two-story training facility for Coast Guard personnel assigned to the maintenance and repair of the National Security Cutter (NSC) and the Sentinel Class Fast Response Cutter (FRC) at the USCG Training Center in Yorktown, VA. The facility provides academic and technical classrooms with lab space, engine labs with full-scaled working engine mockups, battery storage, faculty and administrative offices, conference rooms, locker and shower rooms, a faculty lounge, and a spacious two-story atrium-style student lunchroom. The project scope also included the relocation and installation of two working marine engines.
