Erin Wagner

Beginning her time with Mortenson as an intern, Erin was hired on as a project engineer in 2011 after proving her knowledge and advancing her skills with the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center. A graduate of the University of Denver, Erin graduated with her bachelor's degree in Real Estate and Construction Management. She also served as a project engineer for the South Transfer Station Rebuild project, managing trade contracts, checking shop drawings, coordinating procurement activities, and managing project communications. In her current role as Project Manager, Erin is the primary point of contact during construction and oversees all aspects of project administration, including buy-out, scheduling, project billings, safety, quality, commissioning, and closeout.
Erin finds joy in many aspects of her career throughout the day. She enjoys solving challenging problems, working with other great team members, and getting the opportunity to do something new each day on the job site. Within the industry, Erin looks forward to getting her hands on new, innovative processes and technology like artificial intelligence and machine learning that will make building facilities safer, better, and faster.
Erin won a Pinnacle Award for Exceptional People for her work on Clover Park Center for Advanced Manufacturing Technology in 2018. Erin's expertise was also used to navigate various hospitality, residential, and higher education projects, such as the CitizenM Hotel Pioneer Square, AMLI Arc Residential Tower and the University of Washington recreational center. Her relevant experience also includes the GC/CM delivery of Chambers Bay Wastewater Treatment Facility, the design-build delivery of the UW Tacoma YMCA-Student Center, and the GC/CM delivery of the Urban Solutions project at UWT.
Outside of her professional life, Erin stays busy with her passion and highly developed skill of horseback riding - dressage, spending time with her husband, who is also a highly skilled and valuable Superintendent for the company, and giving back to her community in any way she can.
