Project Manager | Seattle
Greg brings experience, authentic leadership style, communication, and organizational skills to his role as Project Manager for the Seattle team. In his role as a project manager, he is responsible for maintaining communication with all project stakeholders throughout the construction process. He places a high priority on safety and quality, oversees daily site operations, leads project meetings, and ensures that the craft team is well-informed. Additionally, he is accountable for managing project finances and collaborates with owners, subcontractors, and the crew to prevent disruptions, particularly in critical environments. Greg brings leadership and mentorship to the Seattle construction project teams as he helps them grow and build upon the strong quality culture.
Greg joined Mortenson after graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Construction Management. The first years of Greg’s career were spent as an engineer working on a variety of our healthcare projects in Seattle, including the UW Medical Center, Swedish Cherry Hill Imaging, and Providence Neuro ORs. Greg’s next adventure took him to Portland, where he served as a Quality Manager at the Mortenson Development Hyatt Recency Hotel and the Oregon Convention Center. After returning to Seattle from Portland, Greg joined the team at Climate Pledge Arena, where he served as the Quality Manager for the entirety of the project, from demo to supporting the 44-million-pound historic roof to opening night. Greg’s passion for supporting, mentoring, and growing our team is instrumental to our success across our projects.
As a University of Washington Alumni, Greg enjoys supporting the construction management program with student mentoring and participating in Capstone. He is passionate about supporting his local community and has served as a Volunteer Project Manager for multiple Rebuilding Together Seattle Projects. Growing up on Whidbey Island, Greg enjoys spending the summers on the water crabbing and getting out to the local ski areas during the winter months. He is passionate about the outdoors and Mortenson’s commitment to build for the greater good.
