Kevin Bullis

Lead Engineer, Energy Storage | Engineering

Kevin is a licensed professional engineer in six states and has been in the energy industry more than 10 years helping to design and construct over 3 Giga Watts of renewable energy in addition to a handful of electric utility class substation designs ranging from 69kV up to 500kV of both open air type and GIS-type substations. He has worked on numerous renewable energy projects ranging from 10MW to 925MW and with voltages from 120V up to 500kV. Of Kevin’s 3+ GW of renewable energy projects, a good portion of that has been with Energy Storage projects, as he’s worked on 1.6MW and quickly growing.

Kevin is responsible for supporting all engineering efforts from the initial project pursuit, through project selection, during the preconstruction phase, and through to construction completion. Kevin’s responsibilities include providing engineering design and technical support and product development. He has extensive experience in the high voltage substation market, both within protection and controls, as well as electrical/physical design. In addition to Kevin’s substation design experience, Kevin also focuses on the Energy Storage market as it standardizes today, particularly with DC block sizing and technology selection and with a specialization in electrical design sizing and optimization.
