[DIRECTOR OF PRECONSTRUCTION]
Finding a better way, then doing it again.
It is an incredible time to be a part of this industry as we are on the cusp of a renewable energy revolution. The improvements to solar technology and installation costs have already been immense — they have turned photovoltaics from a fringe player into a frontrunner. As far as we have come, Solar has barely scratched the surface of its contribution to the overall energy generation capacity. Those improvements can also pose a challenge to our teams to be better at forecasting plant designs and their associated costs at early stages of their lifecycle. That drives us to learn and innovate, every day, in everything we do.
Setting and exceeding performance expectations.
Preconstruction is a critical timeframe for building a solar project. We have the most ability to influence the project outcomes with the least amount of cost, early in the project lifecycle. Our team members love to engage early to assist in analyzing the solar resources of the site, design, energy production, cap ex, and how to adjust these areas to deliver the highest possible returns for our customers. All organizations are different and the sooner our teams start the preconstruction process, the better the outcomes for everyone involved.
