[PROJECT EXECUTIVE]
Our work is truly about the people and the lives we are changing with the work we do every day.
Changing lives
It is always satisfying to see the project develop from start to finish, but the real excitement is about what happens after we are done. Seeing the customer move in and utilize the space—whether it’s students learning in a new classroom or a family member receiving healthcare with state-of-the-art equipment we just installed—contributing to this community is so rewarding. Our work is truly about the people and the lives we are changing with the work we do every day.
Helping others achieve greatness
A great leader must be passionate, caring, and empathetic and have a sincere appreciation for others. At Mortenson everyone is a leader, regardless of title. Opportunities are created for each person to learn, grow, and develop. This not only makes for a better team member experience, but also improves every aspect of our business and helps drive value for our customers.
Invigorating the collaborative process
The transformations in innovation that I have witnessed throughout my career have been impressive. Technologies like BIM and VDC have dramatically improved the industry and now Mortenson is taking it to the next level. Cloud-based data management brings everything, and everyone, together in one place—delivering real-time project updates to the entire team. This invigorates the collaborative nature of our work and enables flawlessly delivery from conception to completion.
PERSONAL PASSIONS
I grew up in Pembina, a small town in the northeastern corner of North Dakota, and attended college at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Since graduating and staring my career with Mortenson in 2004, it has been truly rewarding be a part of local projects and build lasting relationships with people in the North Dakota Region.
