Tyson Wagner
MEP Executive | Seattle

Tyson brings over 25 years of diverse electrical industry experience to the Mortenson team, which he has been a part of since 2015. As MEP Executive, he oversees the fieldwork of construction projects and is directly responsible for project planning, scheduling, deadline execution, and ensuring that all team members follow stringent safety practices.

Tyson has a proven track record of effectively coordinating and executing numerous high-profile electrical projects throughout his career. He recognizes the significance of early input during the design phase and emphasizes the importance of seamless collaboration between teams. This approach not only ensures a successful outcome for our customers but also fosters a safe working environment for our team members on-site.

Tyson enjoys solving tricky equations and has a unique opportunity in his line of work to take what's on paper and help bring it to life. He enjoys sharing and understanding what our clients are looking for and helping bring an owner's vision to fruition. Tyson believes the greatest accomplishment is a thank you from an owner for a job well done.

In the future of construction, Tyson looks forward to innovation and how it can improve many outdated building methods. Like many other industry professionals, Tyson is eager to find new ways to build and challenge the norms in the industry, specifically with recently developed technology.

Tyson's exceptional demonstration of ingenuity, expertise, and relationship-building earned him a Pinnacle Award for Ingenuity for his work on Project Tilden - Network Command Center and Data Center in 2017.

Outside of work, Tyson gives back to several shelters in his community. He participates in several local charities and attends golf tournaments and charity social events. He has a strong passion for anything outdoors and enjoys partaking in activities like golfing, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, staying busy with yard projects, strength training, and, of course, exploring all that the PNW trails have to offer with his wife, Erin, who is also an exceptional project manager for the organization.
