World-class programs require world-class facilities.
On this project, the University of Washington's primary goal was to provide high-quality spaces that create a warm, pleasant working environment. Mortenson worked closely with the architect and University to maximize natural lighting through the use of various window and skylight systems, full-height atrium space, high-quality lighting, and quality wood and metal finishes. This project won multiple awards, including Project of the Year for Northwest Construction News, the Northwest Construction Consumer Council, and the AIA, “What Makes it Green” award.
